Summary: A few of the reviews worried me, but I'm so glad we stayed here! We stayed as a family with our 4 & 7 year olds, and being a smaller resort, it was perfect for them. We loved the slides, lazy river / sandy beach area, and hot tubs scattered around the grounds. It rained a bit while we were there, so the pools / lazy river being heated was great! So great to have dry and warm towels available as well. The s'mores were fun. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Yes, the pool and lazy river had a few leaves because of all the live oak trees, but it wasn't bad at all (didn't feel gross), and totally worth it for such pretty surroundings. We also appreciated that they allow you to use the amenities before check-in and after check-out. The price was so worth what you get here. Our room was on the ground level in the Mountain Laurel building. Even with the rain, we didn't have one bug in the room. It was very clean, bed was comfy, water was hot and had great pressure. A few little things may have some wear on them, but overall, it was great - absolutely nothing to complain about! Also, getting our parking pass from the timeshare desk wasn't bad at all - they were not pushy at all and really super nice. I am so glad we found this place. Definitely a hidden gem!

Summary: Beautiful property that is well maintained. Front desk checked in with us often making sure everything was exceeded. Room was very clean and updated and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Only negative was our master bedroom door didn't shut properly or lock. Other than that pools were great and plenty of amenities.

Summary: The ice machine is very dirty and looks like it's never cleaned. It was leaking water too. The water machine located in between the bathrooms at the pool area - does not work. Signage for pool and/or lazy river could be much better. The speakers at the Lazy River were not all working. Our room was nice and the bed is VERY comfortable. Front Desk staff are awesome!!! Most staff were great! Daily events for family was fun! Smores at night is a wonderful thing to do. Lazy River is fantastic! Tubes were located in so many places. The Pool is clean and the slides were great!

Summary: Same fun waterslides, pool & lazy river. Disappointed there were no lifeguards. Usually multiple guards watching inside & outside pool area. Biggest disappointment on thursday 8/14 neither of the waterside bars/beverage hus were open. When it's 100 degrees out you really need a cup of ice & water. I was told by front desk I could go to restaurant??? That's sad. JB's for lunch & dinner carryout was good as always. Tobey waited on us and we appreciated his helpfulness and friendliness. Our deadbolt lock on door was not working, but when I called front desk, they sent repairman right away. The desk clerk at check in swiped my credit card 3 times. This concerned me & when I checked my account upon return home my card was charged 3 times for the complete hotel charge. I called the manager and she corrected the error.

Summary: Wife and I just stayed one night for a quick anniversary getaway for the day. Lots to do at the resort and very near a multitude of restaurants. Loved the lazy river and pool area, and the nature hike was fun to do early in the morning.
